Abram Lucabaugh, affectionately known as "Abe," is a prominent figure in the educational community, having served as the Superintendent of the Central Bucks School District in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania. Originally from Hanover, Pennsylvania, his professional life has been dedicated to enhancing educational standards and leadership within the community he serves.
He began his academic career by earning a Bachelor of Science in Education, specializing in English, from Millersville University in 1995. He furthered his education with a Master's in Educational Administration from Gwynedd-Mercy University in 2002 and later earned an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Delaware Valley University in 2017.
Abram's professional journey included various significant roles that underscored his dedication to education. He started as an English teacher at Hatboro-Horsham High School, where he innovated a PSSA training seminar to improve interdisciplinary writing across curriculums. His path in educational leadership advanced as he became Assistant Principal at Keith Valley Middle School and Tohickon Middle School, eventually rising to the role of Principal at Central Bucks High School East. Here, he played a critical role in leading extensive construction and renovation projects and enhancing the school's cultural environment.
From 2018 to 2021, Lucabaugh served as Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education, where he oversaw the operations of the district’s eight secondary schools, significantly contributing to the professional development of the district’s faculty and administration.
Beyond his educational career, he enjoys engaging in activities that promote a balanced lifestyle, such as fly fishing, exercising, reading, and writing.
